At First Baptist Church, we love to see our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students connect with each other, grow in their faith, and serve those around them. That's why FirstWave is proud to offer various ministries throughout the school year and during the summer months to give middle schoolers a place to chill out, hang out, have fun, and be themselves while growing in their faith. We've got video games, the Diner, and an awesome hangout we like to call The Deck.
We offer two opportunities for Middle School Students each week:
Sunday Morning - The AM Show - 10:45am-12
The AM Show provides students a place to hang out, get a snack, laugh at a skit or game, and hear a Bible lesson. Our goal is to make learning the Bible fun and interactive. We are really excited about our newly renovated Student Ministry space, it looks great and the students love it. You've got to check it out.
Wednesday Night - FreeOn - 6-8pm
So we figure that Middle School students need some time to unwind and get rid of some energy in the middle of the week. On Wednesday nights we play games, eat snacks, have a devotional and enjoy some freedom. We promise that guys and girls will really enjoy FreeOn.
*If you can't do FreeOn on Wednesday night our LifePark Campus offers FreeOn on Sunday afternoons from 4-5:30pm.
