The FirstWave Student Ministry is a place where high school students can get connected and have a place to call their own.  We strive to meet students where they are in life and make them feel welcome.

Recently the Student Ministry area was renovated and we are really excited about the High School space.  It is called the Depot and we can't wait for you to check it out!

We offer two opportunities for High School Students each week:

Sunday Morning - High School Bible Study - 10:45-12
On Sunday mornings we invite students to the Quad (which is our Youth Hall) upstairs to hangout, get a snack, play a quick game, see some friends, and learn about God.  Here's the thing, we promise it's not boring.  Our Adult Leaders make learning the Bible enjoyable and challenging, plus they put it into words that can relate to our lives.

Wednesday or Thursday Nights- BIG WEDNESDAY/LifeGroups - 6-8pm
Every Wednesday and Thursday night from 6:00 to 8:00, we offer LifeGroups for high school students that meet in homes throughout the community. This is where students get connected at a deeper level with large group Bible study and small group discussions about real-life issues.  This is the best way to get connected in the FirstWave Student Ministry.
We meet for LifeGroups every week except the 1st Wednesday of the month.  On the 1st Wednesday we have BIG WEDNESDAY from 6-8pm on either our LifePark or First Baptist Campus.  BIG WEDNESDAY = Games, Free Food, Free Stuff, Live Music, A Message, and Laughter, seriously.

CONNECT - Sept. 11 - Awendaw, SC

The Student Ministry at FBC is called the FirstWave Student Ministry and we are one student ministry with The Church at LifePark in North Mt.Pleasant.
