Caregiving

We are here to help and serve others.

There are times in all our lives when we need someone to be there for us.  At First Baptist Church, we believe that it is the role of the church to provide spiritual, emotional, and physical support for those in need.  If you're faced with a divorce, job loss, death in the family, disease, spiritual crisis, or any other challenge, we want to be there for you.  Please read here about our numerous caregiving ministries and use the links at the bottom of the page to get in touch.  As your Christian brothers and sisters, we love you, and we are here to help.  God bless you.

Hospital Ministry
This ministry reaches out to those that are hospitalized and their families.  We conduct hospital visits, help with contacting family members, and provide for the basic needs of the family.

Bereavement Ministry
This ministry supports families who have lost a loved one.  We help with end-of-life arrangements, provide food, and walk alongside family members during the grieving process.

Nursing Home Ministry
This team provides weekly worship services, Bible studies, and Christian fellowship to residents of the Sandpiper facility.

Home-bound and Nursing Home Visitation Ministry
This ministry looks after and cares for those members of our church family who are home-bound or in a nursing home.  These dear friends greatly look forward to our love and support.
