Thanks so much for your family’s interest in VBS 2014 - Living Inside Out. We are looking forward to taking a journey through the stories that Jesus told and learning how we can live inside out.
Each day, your child will learn about one of the stories Jesus told through video or live storytelling. We will focus on one main principle, or Bottom Line, each day. We’ll be exploring how Jesus taught a lot of principles by storytelling. By the end of the week, we want your child to understand what it means to take in the principles of those stories and live them out in their lives. Stories included are: Sand vs. Rock (Matthew 7:24-27), The Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37), Bigger Barns (Luke 12:13-21), Don’t Worry (Matthew 6:25-34), and The Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32).
For your family to get the most out of this experience, please continue to ask your child at home about what they are learning at Living Inside Out VBS. We’ll be sending home Parent CUE Cards to help you keep the conversation going. Together, we can make a greater impact on your child’s life than either of us could do alone.
Thank you again for allowing us the opportunity to partner with you as you encourage your child along his or her spiritual journey. We are looking forward to spending time with your child as we learn how to live inside out.

As we approach the start of a new year, and the turning of a page, many families with small children start thinking about setting goals for raising their children to know Jesus. As the old adage goes, "It takes a village!" and we are encouraged when families desire to partner with our church to accomplish this growth process. At FBC, we welcome this partnership gladly and have a simple procedure in place to get started! To 'kick off' this type of partnership, we plan a personalized "Baby Dedication" event. After planning, this event takes place during one of our church services with participation from the pastor, parents and congregation. The congregation get to meet the sweet little one, everyone gets to commit to help each other as the precious baby grows up, and we close with prayer over the child. It's a joyous occasion, especially when we are celebrating families deciding to dedicate their life to raising their child to know Jesus!
If you have a young child & are interested in knowing more about this process, please contact us! You can email or call our Children's Minister, Kristen Patrick.
